It's Just Hair

Why is hair so important to most women? Uhhhhhh, cause how else are men going to know we are pissed off if we can't do the "hair flip?" The actual reason may be that hair is what makes us feel feminine. Women like the security of hair. It's how we flirt. Like twisting it between our fingers or pushing it over our shoulder. It's a way of showing our anger like by pretending to rip our hair out or actually physically trying to rip someone else's hair out. It's how we represent ourself. Long or short it's a part of us. It's so much more important to us than men could ever understand.
Which is why cutting mine and letting go of the extension world was so difficult. God decided to spend a little more time perfecting my personality and completely forgot about blessing me with semi-manageable hair. So, thanks to Gods honest mistake, I've had to use clip-in extensions for a portion of my life. It's been a rough start. I've been through a lot. Itchy scalp. Tracks showing through. A dwindling bank account. I mean the list could go on.
I knew enough was enough and I needed to just do the deed to put me out of my misery.
I couldn't be happier. Yes, it's much shorter and I'm more fond of long hair but I feel like a boss. Like I could walk into a mega successful corporation and just walk into a private meeting and just start shouting out orders with people immediately responding because I've got a short haircut and shit I better listen to her. Shorter haircuts, I feel, make people take you more seriously. I mean it's only been about a day for me but my boyfriend has already responded very positively to my shorter style by obeying orders without complaint much easier than with my long flowing waves.
If you're feeling the need for something different or want men to obey your every command I'd suggest for a more shorter "do." I've got some pretty great inspirations that may sway your mind completely if I haven't already:
Ugh...anyone watch house of cards? Wow, cause Clair Underwood could ask me to murder someone and I would do it without question. She is the definition of a boss.
Okay isn't she the cutest thing? Then to top it off she is a singer in a group called UstheDuo. Wait for it......with her husband. Ya, i know she can't get any cuter.
I hope my sarcastic writing did not offend you. I know I have a problem but I hope I helped sway some people in the right direction. Remember, it's just hair.
